Re: M3Radio/Hot Indie Media’s EmpressRed Conquers Italy!

On-air M3Radio Independent News personality, EmpressRed, recently received accolades from Italy and Gibson Guitars. The well tuned temptress and Internet media phenomena was featured in the world renown guitar maker’s newsletter along with Italian rock band Cinemavolta who is currently on tour in France.

Since the summer of 2008 the Empress has used Cinemavolta’s music as the soundtrack for her self produced commentary series M3Radio Independent News with EmpressRed. The band, which has an endorsement deal with the legendary luthier to promote a new line of instruments in Europe, spoke extensively about their collaboration with the New York City commentator during their interview with the Gibson newsletter’s Italian correspondent.

Describing the hot, hip, hostess as beautiful and eccentric in their article, Gibson Guitars even featured footage of one of her broadcast, backed by an insanely smoking instrumental track from her favorite Italian rockers, Cinemavolta, on their web site.

A little known fact about EmpressRed’s program is that it’s co-produced by James Lane, The founder of Hot Indie Media and Hot Indie News. Another tasty tidbit is Stevie B, writing under the name B-Boy writes the show and was once Madonna’s record producer on some of her earliest releases.

Look for EmpressRed this summer when she hosts the M3Radio Indie Music Video Contest/The Sonic Showdown and check out the Gibson Guitar newsletter at: http://www.gibson.com/it-it/Stile-di-Vita/Novita/in-francia-con-cinemavolta317/.

What I think

So as most of you know I am a student at Five Towns College and will be graduating in May. Throughout my 4 years there I have met and heard so many talented artist, musicians, audio engineers etc. I have also met some not so great artist, musicians, audio engineers etc. but they all have one thing in common they are all trying to make it in this cut throat industry. I myself is involved in the industry and I have witness many artist who just don't know the 1st thing about this industry and all that it entails. The one thing that I would advise any1 trying to make it in this industry is to do your research and know the business. It is one thing to be good at your craft but if you don't know anything about the business you will find yourself being taken advantage of by many in the industry.
